The foundation and the research work of this organisation began 50 years back when the idea was conceptualized. But formally the organisation came into existence in 1997," avers Mr. R. B. Singh, Former CEO. "This company is promoted by an international group of people. The main promoters being Israeli and American nationals living and working in India over 2 decades in promoting and supporting sustainable organic agriculture with special reference to ancient and ayurvedic knowledge. These people come from business backgrounds from their respective countries, who left their foreign soil and business interest and moved to India to dedicate themselves for spiritual and social cause," he adds.

Products

The organization manufactures a range of the organic foods, spices, teas and healing herbs. Under organic foods and spices the company offers certified organic grains, cereals, pulses and spices. The company also supplies organic bulk herbs like amalaki, arjun, bel leaf, bhumyamlaki, chandrashoor, gurnchi and haldi.

The company offers 23 herbal formulations to address various health needs. Its tulsi tea collection contains a blend of three varieties of organic tulsi containing a blend of organic herbs and spices with organic black and green teas. The variety of tulsi tea includes tulsi brahmi, tulsi ginger tea, tulsi Darjeeling , tulsi green tea and tulsi chai masala. It also supplies special herbs like psyllium, senna leaves and tulsi (krishna, rama and vana); and other products like honey, jaggery and jaggery powder.

Herbal Supplements

Mr. Singh claims that the capsulated herbal supplements manufactured by the company are unique. "They are unique in two aspects, one that we are the first company in India to use imported vegetarian capsules and second that the herbal ingredients used in the fillings are derived from certified organic sources," he says. " They are processed, grounded and prepared strictly as per ancient ayurvedic recommendations without loosing its originality and natural essence at cellular matrix level," he adds.

The manufacturing of the supplements is done at two levels - one at the farm level itself where the fresh herbs are cleaned, graded and dehydrated at our facilities and in the second level they are grounded, powdered and capsulated. "These processes are done in highest degree of hygienic conditions in our factory which is SQF, GMP and HACCP certified," claims Mr. Singh.
