General Description –

A deciduous middle-sized tree with a crooked trunk, it has light green sour fruit. In Ayurveda, the Amla fruit is classified as a rasayana due to its nourishing and rejuvenating effect on the body. Also called an elixir, the amla fruit is one of the highest sources of vitamin C and contains antioxidants like tannins and flavonoids that reduce inflammation and boost longevity.
